In and around temple and Rajbalhat

In the adjacent area of temple there are several shops selling Puja materials , Saree , food and drink items ,toys , flowers  and other things. People from village and other areas visit mandir area with friends and family for shopping and other leisure  activities,

The management has built the shops with a vision of employment generation and economic development of the area.

There is beautiful BADAMTALA where people sit and relaxed on the granite paved seating area under a very old Badam tree aged about 200 years and enjoy a relaxed time with friends and family.

Beside Badam tree there is Neem tree more than 200 yrs old which is considered to be Holi.

The festival of RATHAYATRA  is being observed for many years. Lot of visitors and travellers gather to see two story equal sized RATH made of iron which is one of its kind in Hooghly district.

Other tourist spot includes SHISHUTALA MAHASAMSHAN which is full of variety of trees and birds , a very old TAMAL tree , banks of DAMODAR river.

Antpur (approx. 5-7 km): Famous for its 17th-18th century terracotta temples, including the Radha Govinda Temple and the Ramakrishna Math, which are frequently visited together with Rajbalhat.  Swami Vivekananda is believed to have performed Dhuniyagna here.
