Resuming with Raja Kishorilal Goswami who was a prominent 19th-century lawyer, Bengal Assembly member, and landowner based in Serampore, West Hooghly, who was awarded the title of ‘Raja’ by the British government .

The custody of the Rajballavi mata estate went in the eminent  hands of Tulsi chnadra Goswami who made significant contributions to the freedom movement in various important ways. He was elected to the Central Legislative Assembly and to the Bengal Legislative Assembly in the year 1937.He was also the first non-official Indian member of the Bengal Council — a great accolade in those days. Along with Bidhan Chandra Roy, , Sarat Chandra Bose, and others Tulsi Chandra Goswami constituted what was known as the “Big Five” of the Bengal Congress.

After the death of Sri Tulsi Chandra Goswami Srimati Asheema Goswami continued this esteemed responsibility and at her old age appointed Mr. Adrish Bhattacharya to carry her legacy which he is executing with love and devotion as Shebait of SHREE SHREE RAJBALLAVIMATA and managing the Debottar Estate.
